Internal campaign throughout the month and special action with the Military Police and DETRAN/PR reinforce safety culture.
The May Yellow campaign is an international awareness initiative aimed at reducing traffic accidents and encouraging safer and more responsible behavior on the roads. At Astra, the topic is reinforced throughout the month through internal communication, with the goal of increasing awareness among employees and promoting safer habits in daily traffic.
As part of this program, on May 27, the highlight of the actions took place with the special “Good Morning with Safety” initiative, carried out in partnership with the Military Police and DETRAN/PR, welcoming employees at the start of their shift with guidance and awareness activities.
Supervisors, coordinators, and managers were present reinforcing the importance of traffic awareness, respect for safety rules, and the correct use of protective equipment such as helmets and seat belts.
The program also included a traffic accident simulation, offering a powerful visual reflection on how small decisions can lead to significant consequences. We were also honored to welcome Lieutenant Walace, who delivered lectures on safe behavior, responsibility, and accident prevention.
This initiative reinforces Astra’s commitment to building a strong safety culture based on information, awareness, and care for people.
