Employees complete Metrology and Calibration courses offered by Astra Foods
Technical training courses held in partnership with SENAI brought together 26 employees and are part of the company’s ongoing initiatives to develop its maintenance team.
In August, Astra Foods held a graduation ceremony for employees who completed the Basic Industrial Metrology and Measurement Instrument Calibration courses, offered in partnership with SENAI.
Both training programs were aimed at the maintenance team and focused on expanding employees’ technical knowledge in areas related to measurement, control, and calibration of instruments used in industrial operations.
A total of 26 employees participated in the training, with 20 hours of instruction in Basic Industrial Metrology and 16 hours in Measurement Instrument Calibration. Both classes had a 100% completion rate, with no dropouts.

The other employees completed one of the two training programs and were also recognized for their dedication throughout the learning process.
The initiative continues the partnership between Astra Foods and SENAI in providing courses focused on employees’ technical development. Since 2024, 9 classes have been completed, with approximately 90 professionals trained and more than R$127,000 invested exclusively in technical training for the maintenance team.
Continuous training helps expand employees’ knowledge and prepare them for the technical challenges present in industrial operations. For Astra Foods, maintaining initiatives like these is part of developing its team and creating new opportunities for professional growth.
