Mamãe Astra was officially introduced on May 8 and reinforces the company’s commitment to people, appreciation, and internal culture.

On Friday, May 8, Astra Foods officially launched the Mamãe Astra Project, created especially for the company’s pregnant employees.

The project was developed with the goal of providing greater support, care, and security for future mothers during pregnancy, strengthening Astra’s commitment to people’s well-being and to valuing its internal culture.

In the final stage of pregnancy, participating employees will receive a maternity kit containing items such as hygiene products, clothing, a maternity bag, medical follow-up, and support materials, including guidance booklets for pregnancy and motherhood care.

During the launch event, it was highlighted that the project was designed to support women who balance motherhood and work, making this moment lighter and safer.

“This project was created with women in mind who need to balance motherhood and work. The goal is to create a more welcoming and secure environment. We want to support you and ensure you have the conditions to continue your work in a smoother and more peaceful way,” said Andrew Tomaszewski, Human Resources Manager.

The initiative also aims to provide support in different aspects of pregnancy, personal, professional, and health-related, reinforcing the company’s attention to the needs of its employees during such an important period.

The launch of Mamãe Astra represents a milestone within Astra Foods’ people and culture initiatives, standing out as a differentiated project that is still uncommon in the corporate sector.
