Astra Foods participates in Gulfood 2025 and strengthens international connections

Between February 17 and 21, Astra took part in Gulfood 2025, the world’s largest food service trade fair, held in Dubai. The event brought together companies and professionals from the food industry from various countries, creating a strategic environment for business negotiations, networking, and updates on the sector’s main trends.
Astra Foods’ participation was an important milestone for both the company and the Brazilian beef industry. This participation was made possible through the Brazilian Beef Project, an initiative launched in 2001 through the partnership between ApexBrasil and Abiec, which has promoted Brazilian beef in the international market for more than 20 years.
During the five-day event, Astra Foods, alongside 20 other companies, showcased the quality and flavor of Brazilian beef. Our presence reinforced the company’s commitment to expanding its global operations, especially in strategic markets such as Muslim-majority countries, which accounted for more than 15% of Brazilian beef exports, totaling 330 thousand tons and generating USD 1.3 billion in revenue.
We concluded our participation with the certainty that this experience added significant value to our team and further strengthened our global presence. We remain motivated to take the quality of our products even further around the world.
